Privacy policy

Last updated October 17, 2026.

This policy explains what information HotsBuzz (hotsbuzz.com) handles when you visit the site.

Information we collect

We do not ask you to create an account and we do not run sign-up forms. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message, and we use it only to reply.

Local storage

The site stores two small preferences in your browser’s local storage: your light or dark theme choice, and which materials you have ticked on a project checklist. They never leave your device and you can clear them at any time in your browser settings.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which projects are popular and how people find us. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information like the pages you visit, how long you stay, your approximate location, and your device and browser type. We use this only in aggregate to improve HotsBuzz. You can learn how Google uses this data at policies.google.com, and opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Fonts and server logs

Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when your browser requests them. Our host keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting.

Third-party links

When you use the “Save to Pinterest” button you are taken to Pinterest, whose own privacy policy applies.
